PROCESS & DOCUMENTATION

Mechanical processing and sheet-metal forming

Cutting, bending, punching, drilling, slitting and roll forming: a project may require several operations before a component is ready for assembly or finishing. FORTZA STEEL’s published machinery includes equipment for these stages.

01

CNC bending, pressing and rolling

The Vicla press brake and robotic Amada are listed for sheet bending. Published values are 4,000 mm and up to 6 mm for Vicla, and 2,700 mm and up to 5 mm for Amada. Equipment designated “Valt” is listed for bending and rolling up to 2,000 mm and 5 mm. Material, actual bend length and tooling affect feasibility; these are not universal limits.

02

Punching and drilling

The Euromac CX750/30 is listed at 300 kN with a 750 × 1,250 mm work area or 750 × 2,500 mm with repositioning. Ficep A31 is listed for punching and drilling without confirmed numerical limits. Drawings should specify opening geometry and positions, functional dimensions and measurement datums. Requirements are checked against available tooling and configuration.

03

Coil, sections and tubes

The slitting line is listed for 0.8–8 mm sheet and coils up to 1,500 mm wide. Automatic profiling lines produce open sections; the inventory also includes Adige TC720, a Pegas Gonda saw, Wafios BM4 and robotic tube bending. Operations are selected from the starting material and final geometry, rather than a single dimension.

05 / FREQUENT QUESTIONS

Details that matter before quotation.

Does mechanical processing include milling or turning?

The published inventory supports cutting, bending, pressing, punching, drilling, slitting and profiling. Milling or turning is not advertised without specific equipment and confirmation.

Can I request several operations for the same component?

Include the full set of requirements in one inquiry. The team reviews the sequence, feasibility and which operations can be included in the quotation.

How are tolerances agreed?

Through the technical documentation and quotation confirmation. The website does not give one guaranteed tolerance for all machines, materials and geometries.
